Sonics VPN is currently compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices. In the future, Sonics VPN will be available to customers using other operating systems as well.

If you use one of these operating systems or later versions on your device, you can go ahead and install the Sonics VPN application to browse securely!

1. Download the Sonics VPN application from our official page.
2. After successfully installing Sonics VPN, open the application. Click the Sign up button to create your account. Enter your email address and a verification link will be sent to your email inbox. Once you open that email, click the Confirm button and you will be signed in! 
3. After logging into the Sonics VPN app, tap the Connect button to be automatically connected to a suitable server. It will be selected based on a few criteria, such as the distance to the server and the server load.
4. Alternatively, you can pick the preferred location. The free version offers three options: New York, Los Angeles, and Amsterdam.

For more location options, you can sign up for the Premium plan. It offers a range of servers, a check-up on your credentials’ security status, and many other additions to your online security! To begin, head to the **Google Play Store** and search for Sonics VPN. Alternatively, you can use this [link](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonics.vpn&referrer=utm_source%3Dweb) while you're on your Android device to be automatically redirected to the app page on the Google Play Store.

Once you see the app, click on the **Install** button.

The installed app will appear on your home screen, tap on it to launch the Sonics VPN application.

## Logging in
To log into your account, tap the Existing user. **Sign in** button.

Enter your email address and click the Send secure link button. You will get a verification email containing a link that is used to log in.

After you open the email, click on the Confirm sign-in button, and you will be logged into your account.

Once you are logged in with an account that has a premium subscription, you will gain access to all of the server locations that we offer.

If you wish to purchase a premium subscription, you can do so directly via the Sonics VPN website, or Google Play Store by tapping the lightning bolt icon to open the Subscription tab.

## Connecting
There are two options to connect to a VPN server. By clicking the Quick Connect button, you will automatically be connected to a suitable server based on a few criteria, such as the distance to the server and the server load. Alternatively, you can click on the Location button on the main screen to bring up a server list that will allow you to connect to a specific location.

When connecting to a server for the first time, you will get a prompt asking you to set up a VPN connection on your device. This is necessary so that the Sonics VPN app could create and manage a VPN tunnel.

After you select a server based on your needs, or by using the quick connect feature, you will be connected to a VPN server and the connection status in the application will change to be protected.

To disconnect from a server, you will need to click the Quick Connect button once again.

## Downloading and installing Sonics VPN
1. To begin your journey with Sonics VPN, head to this page and click on Download free. This button will start to download the Windows installation package.
2. Once the download is complete, locate the installation package in your Downloads folder and double-click on it.
3. Installing Sonics VPN is automatic, and once it's done the application will be launched.

## Logging in
1. You can log into your account by launching the application and pressing on 'Already have an account? Sign In' where you will see the area to enter your email.
2. Upon entering your email address and clicking the Sign in button, you will receive a verification email with a button Confirm sign-in that you will have to click to complete the Sign-in process.
3. As soon as you press the button, you will be redirected to a new page asking you to allow the Sonics VPN application to open. By checking the Allow box and clicking Okay on the app, you will automatically be logged into your account.
4. Lastly, you will be redirected back to the Settings tab where you will see your User ID and some information about your subscription if you purchased a premium plan.

The registration process is the same as logging in if you do not have an account.

Alternatively, you can click on a specific country in the list of servers, and the application will connect you to a server within that area.
2. After you select a server based on your needs/Quick Connect feature, you will be connected to a VPN server and the connection status in your application will be changed to be protected. The server you have connected to will be shown at the top under Current Connection.
3. To disconnect from a server, you will need to click the Quick Connect button once more.

In this guide, we will go through the installation process of the Sonics VPN application on devices running **iOS**, this includes iPhones and iPads. This app is a simple way to secure your internet traffic and bypass various geo-restrictions on your iOS devices.

## Downloading and installing the app
To begin, head to the App Store and look up **Sonics VPN**. Alternatively, you can use this link while you're on your iOS device to be automatically redirected to the app page on the App Store.

Once you see the app, click on the **Get** button to install the app. You may be asked to confirm this action by using your Face ID/Touch ID or your Apple ID password.

The installed app will appear on your home screen, tap on it to launch the Sonics VPN application.

When you first open the app, you will be presented with a Privacy Notice, tap on Accept & Continue to access the app.

## Logging in
In order for you to use the Sonics VPN application, you would need to sign in. You can either press Get Started or Existing User? **Sign In**.

Enter your **registered email address** and open the confirmation email you receive in your email inbox.

Once you open the confirmation email, tap on the button **Confirm sign-in**.

Upon successful login, you will be redirected to the application.
